Meet Dora the explorer. She would really rather spend time with people instead of exploring. Dora was released to the shelter by her owner who was moving and could not take her along. According to her former owner she does well with children, dogs, and cats. Dora does become possessive of her food bowl so she is best suited for a home with children mature enough to understand not to play near her food bowl while she is eating. Come to the shelter today for a visit. $110.00 Adoption FeeDog would need to be spayed/neutered at the new owners expense. $55 of the adoption fee would apply toward the spay/neuter charges.SHELTER HOURS:11:00am 4:00pm Monday - Friday11:00am 6:30pm WednesdayWe welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or outside the state of Virginia.
